    Great teriyaki joint in san Clemente close to the beach. The beef and chicken teriyaki is always on point as well with the sushi rolls.

    I love the way I can call ahead and they have the most delicious chicken bowl ready for me and my family.  Tonight I got chicken bowls so the kids can take them for lunch tomorrow morning when they go to San Clemente high school.  What other place in town can you watch them make your chicken bowl and then the husband and wife team package it up with all my favorite extra sauces including teriyaki and Sriracha!  Hurry before they close at 8:30 pm.

    I never paid any attention to Super Bowl Express despite passing it probably hundreds of times--until a friend took me there for lunch. What a pleasant surprise! The place is light on atmosphere and heavy on flavor and VALUE. They have a wall menu with many numbered options. I had the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl with veggies for the grand sum of $7.25 It is a huge portion so much so that on one occasion I took half home to eat later. The owners/staff are friendly and garnish your bowls with several things upon request. I usually go light on that. They have two tables out front which have always been available when I visit which makes the food even more enjoyable. There is always a steady stream of people coming in and out with take-out, clearly regulars who, like me want great food at a reasonable price point. Bravo.
